Sabi sabi Earth lodge. The dining area A water hole that can be seen from most of the rooms as well as the dining area. There were 3 lovely big elephants have a drink when we arrived - there are no fences around the lodge Our room - very luxurious and enormous and all air-conditioned
My little boy Another water hole where we had supper the last night; remember there are no fences and lions hunt in the dark Jolyon talking to guests
These gold-carts were used to ferry visitors to and from their rooms. Important at night because there are no fences around the lodge and lions hunt at night Our room, showing the splash pool A view from the room out into the veld
A rainbow skink. These agile little lizards were every where and very welcome as they keep down the insect population The rock pool in the reception area at the lodge. Showing the guests entry door. This false garlic plant was found in the rock pool
The view from the room showing the splash pool A pretty little moth on the highly textured wall. The whole lodge has this style of wall, supposed to resemble clay mixed with grass but it was actually concrete and very attractive.
