North of the Umtata River Mouth (or Sue's treasure trove)
Sue and mom admiring a find on Umtata beach. I found so many big shells I couldn't carry them all The black titanium oxide makes interesting patterns as the water recedes. Even before she has had coffee in the morning she's cleaning her stash. Put out to dry - not likely in this weather.
South of the Umtata River Mouth

Early morning sea mist near the Umtata River mouth

View point..... with a 'sandy' beach and miles of coast The actual Umtata River mouth, canoes/paddle boats go between the cottages and the island-cum-beach.

Wind swept indigenous forest near the river mouth Early morning mist at the view point.... looking for turtles, but I guess it was too early

Straight down....... quite a dive

180 view of the sea from the hillside.
